RatePunk cashback is our free rewards program that lets you earn reward points towards cash back on your eligible hotel bookings. When you book at participating providers with the RatePunk browser extension, you can get a chance to earn points on your purchase.
Everytime you book with Cashback activated, we will award you RatePunk coins. The amount you receive depends on the complete booking value (youll be able to see the exact amount on the success page). These coins will be pending in your account until after you complete your stay. When the stay is completed - we confirm your cashback.
When you book a hotel from a provider featured on RatePunk after clicking through from our site, the provider will give us a commission for sending you to their website. After you complete your stay, we share this commission with you, which we call 'cashback' and is actually paid by the retailer. Then, we'll make your cashback 'payable' for you to withdraw and spend.
RatePunk cashback is completely free to activate, and there won't be any charges whatsoever.
When you browse at a providers site youll see a prompt to activate Cashback inside the RatePunk extension window, that means we offer Cashback rewards for this provider at this time.
Just click the Activate Now button and then book like normal, complete your stay, and after that, you will earn some Cashback.
Cashback should appear on your user account page within 7 days of booking, but it usually isn't ready to withdraw straight away. We need to wait until you complete your stay before we can confirm your cashback, and then once the provider has paid us the commission for your stay, we'll make your cashback 'payable' and ready to withdraw and spend.
Withdrawing your cashback rewards is easy - we transfer money straight to your PayPal account.
Access and change data on websites is a standard permission used by major extensions like Honey and Capital One. In the sake of transparency, we request this permission in order to expand to all travel websites. We plan on adding hotel comparison across all hotel websites. Requesting websites in use on every extension update would require users to accept new permissions on every update leading to a poor user experience and churn.
